Nestled in the heart of the Peloponnese, Stymfalia Lake is a natural paradise surrounded by mountains, myth, and untamed beauty. For the past decade, it has been home to one of Greece’s most vibrant athletic events that unites over 4.500 athletes and 25.000 visitors every year, celebrating the powerful connection between sports, nature and community.

Using a single handheld camera, and with a lot of sweat, I set out to capture the raw energy, emotion and spirit of the event. My focus was on the athletes’ dedication to reach the finish line, their passion for running while pushing on their limits but also highlighting the genuine human moments that define this event.
